Privacy Notice

Version 2026-09-v3 · Effective 1 September 2026

Private by default

Full mobile numbers, registrations and security fingerprints are not placed on public pages.

Intentional contact

A member’s contact is revealed only after an authenticated Connect action.

No data selling

Private member data is not sold or offered to sponsors for targeting.

Information collected

The exchange uses your verified mobile number, profile name, language and roles; vehicle, driver and listing information you submit; and, for driver onboarding, your photo, date of birth, gender, driving-licence number, licence expiry and licence images. It also uses Community Partner attribution, badge and Trust and Safety records, Connect events, consent records and support requests. Security controls may store keyed hashes of IP addresses and browser details. Aggregate daily counters do not contain phone numbers or message content.

Why it is used

Information is used to authenticate members, publish the details you choose to list, find relevant matches, enable direct contact, prevent spam and fraud, review reports, recognise evidence-backed participation, support users, measure service performance, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing and public visibility

Cab and acting-driver enquiries, provider availability and provider identities are not published as public lists. An enquiry is shown only to up to five selected, opted-in providers. Operational WhatsApp alerts contain journey facts but not the requester’s mobile number. Drivers may separately opt in to private account updates such as driving-licence expiry reminders; these messages use the verified account mobile and never include the licence number or licence images. Contact is revealed only when a selected provider deliberately responds, and WhatsApp then processes the communication under its own terms. Service providers may process limited data for hosting, OTP and opted-in operational alerts. Data may also be disclosed where lawfully required or necessary to address serious safety or abuse concerns.

Stay enquiry referrals

When you visit through a labelled campaign link, we keep its source, medium, campaign name, landing page path and visit time in your session for up to two hours after that visit. If you send a stay enquiry during that period, those details are saved with the enquiry and follow its retention rules. A later labelled visit replaces the earlier referral. Ordinary browsing does not extend this window. Referral labels help us understand which links bring enquiries; they do not change provider assignment. Links to affiliated Vihar Tours pages carry campaign labels, not your account or enquiry details.

Retention and security

Records are kept only while needed for the exchange, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate. Controls include OTP authentication, access restrictions, rate limits, encrypted driving-licence numbers and grievance contact details, protected identity-document storage, audit records and non-public identity information. Driver photos and licence images are available only to the driver and authorized reviewers. No online system can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, vehicles and listings, close listings, obtain a portable copy of account data, and request correction or account deletion. Some records may be retained where needed for security, fraud, disputes or law. Optional marketing is not required for core access.
